Accessibility Statement
Our approach to website accessibility and honest, site-specific travel accessibility guidance.
Our approach to website accessibility
We aim to build our website using semantic HTML so that its structure is understandable to assistive technologies, along with keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements so the site can be used without a mouse.
We aim for readable colour contrast throughout the site, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
Known limitations
Some parts of our website include third-party embeds, such as maps, which are built and controlled by external providers. We cannot guarantee that these embedded elements meet the same accessibility standards we aim for on the rest of our site.
Requesting accessible travel arrangements
If you or a member of your group has a mobility requirement, sensory need or other accessibility consideration, please tell us when you enquire or book so that we can plan your itinerary accordingly.
Many heritage sites in Odisha, including temples and ancient monuments, have steps, uneven stone surfaces and limited or no ramps, since these structures were built long before modern accessibility standards existed. We will advise you honestly, site by site, about what to expect, rather than presenting an inaccurate picture of accessibility at any given location.
Ongoing improvement
We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and welcome feedback that helps us identify and address gaps on our website or in how we plan accessible travel arrangements.
