4 Days / 3 Nights · comfort itinerary
Bhubaneswar — Baripada — Similipal — Chandipur
Similipal's tiger reserve, waterfalls and sal forests sit a firm five hours from Bhubaneswar, so this itinerary uses Baripada as a base and adds Chandipur's tidal beach on the return leg, since it lies directly on the route back. This works because it turns a long round trip into a two-destination loop rather than retracing the same road twice for nothing.
Two safari sessions are built in — a full day inside the core zone and a shorter buffer-zone drive — since single-safari visits often miss sightings and leave visitors wanting a second attempt.
This 4 days / 3 nights itinerary is planned as a comfort trip and suits family, private, group travellers. It leans towards wildlife, nature, photography interests, so it works best if you want wildlife, nature, photography on the road.
Unsure about timing? Our season-by-season guide to visiting Odisha and how many days Odisha needs explain how the coast, wildlife parks and tribal districts change month to month. Every day of this route can be re-sequenced or extended before you confirm.
