Koraput sits in the Eastern Ghats at a noticeably cooler elevation than the rest of Odisha, with terraced valleys and a cultural landscape shaped by several Adivasi communities including the Bonda, Paraja and Gadaba. Coffee has been cultivated on its slopes since colonial times.
We treat tribal-region travel on an ethical, consent-based footing: no staged photography, no intrusive village visits, and local guides drawn from the region itself rather than outside operators.
